LECTURES
We were provided with online tutorials in which Mr Hafeez explained in detail various important concepts such as using gradients to create smooth colour transitions, adding textures and grain effects for a more realistic and interesting image. The lectures also covered perspective and composition, which are key elements for proper placement of objects in space. This knowledge was useful to prepare for the upcoming assignment, which included creating a background for Wormator and designing a card for a Pokemon, where we had to apply all these techniques to achieve a harmonious and attractive visual result.
INSTRUCTION
Before I started sketching the background, I decided to come up with a new pokémon. I decided that it would be set in a night forest, as I wanted to create an atmosphere of mystery and magic. To get a better idea of what a night forest looks like, I started looking for images and inspiration for the background. This helped me to visualise more accurately what the setting should look like and what details to consider when creating the background for the pokémon.

2 -Digitalisation
After I decided on the concept of the night forest, I started developing the background in Adobe Illustrator. I started by creating the basic elements - trees, shrubs, and other natural objects that are typical of the night forest. Gradually I added details such as shadows and lighting effects to create a sense of nocturnal atmosphere. In the process, I actively used gradients and transparencies to add depth and volume, making the background more atmospheric and appropriate for the Pokémon.

When the background was ready, I decided to add the Pokémon to the centre of the composition to make it the main element. I positioned it in such a way that it would blend in with the surroundings, not overshadowing the background, but at the same time attracting the viewer's attention. The Pokémon was depicted in a pose appropriate to the night atmosphere, taking into account that it should appear as part of this mysterious forest.
3. Pokemon Card
I decided to name mine Lunelis. This name is inspired by the moon, as my pokémon lives in the night forest where the night sky and moonlight play an important role in its existence. Lunelis is a pokémon that lurks in the forest thickets, spending its days in the shade of trees and its nights exploring the moonlit forest. Its body resembles a soft, glowing mass that adapts to the night atmosphere, and it can use the power of the moon to defend itself against enemies.

Lunelis Abilities:
- Shadow Light: Lunelis can create a mystical mixture of light and shadow that blinds opponents. This ability not only deals damage, but also reduces the accuracy of enemy attacks, plunging them into a twilight state. It is ideal for confusing enemies and for use in combat situations.
- Light Breath: Lunelis releases a powerful stream of pure light that strikes enemies and heals allies. This unique breath helps restore your team's health while dealing damage to enemies in range of the attack. Light Breath can be especially effective in dark or eclipsed conditions.
FEEDBACK
Please make a reference to Framed Ink then amend accordingly. It is world building, create an environment that will communicate your character's backstory.
REFLECTION
I reviewed many Pokémon cards to understand how to properly design abilities, weaknesses, and other details to fit the standards. This helped me better understand the structure and requirements for creating a card, and I was able to adapt them to fit my pokémon. Although this was my first experience with Pokémon card creation, the process was fun. I enjoyed designing Lunelis' abilities and weaknesses, and figuring out how they could interact in the game.
