Using a processed design framework, students will now produce an infographic report to present the given information to a ‘target audience’ with the purpose of:
1. Creating awareness (such as Global Warming, Recycle, etc.)
3. Defining a concept (such as "What is Fast Fashion", "What is Color Wheel", etc.)
2. Explaining a process (such as "how to" video)
4. Any time-based media and software using photography, vector imagery.
The presentation must be deliberated on, and consider each assessment rubric of sorts to your final outcome:
1. Show causality 2. Multivariate graphics and visuals 3. Integrate word numbers and images 4. Content count 5. Within eyesight 6. Use multiple charts 7. Do not de-quantify
Requirement:
Video resolution: 1920px x 1080px HD (min 1.5 mins max 3 mins)
Submission:
1. A ± 3 minute animated infographic uploaded into YouTube (unlisted) 2. Digital compilation into your Google Drive Folder 3. Online posts in your E-portfolio as your reflective studies(Please attach the E-Portfolio link here for submission.)

IDEA
We have selected the theme "What Makes a Planet Habitable?", inspired by this video.
We find this topic important and fascinating because it helps us better understand the conditions necessary for life to exist on planets. It also provides a deeper understanding of the processes that shape habitable worlds.

RESEARCH
The research is divided into 5 main part, which are the main content of our video:
Using current issues/trends as intro (e.g. Mars migration/colonization)
Brief introduction to the concept
Characteristics of habitable planets
Main factors contribute to making a planet habitable
5 Potential Earth like Planets

PROGRESS
Week 1:
This week, we selected our topic: "Could We Find Another Earth?". To establish a clear artistic vision, the illustration team brainstormed ideas and created several concept artworks. Additionally, we began researching key scientific aspects to ensure accuracy in our presentation.

Week 2:
This week, we conducted in-depth research on the core content of our project. Here are some key topics we plan to include in the video:
Introduction to the concept of habitable planets and habitable zones
Current trends in Mars migration and colonization
Characteristics of a habitable planet
Key factors that contribute to planetary habitability
Potential Earth-like exoplanets
Week 3:
In this week, we have completed a brief storyboard.
Character design for the video:

Week 4:
We have chosen a color palette of bright purple and dark blue to create a space-inspired, neon, and dynamic atmosphere. These colors help enhance the futuristic and immersive feel of our project.

FEEDBACK
Week 2
Overall good
Week 3
Continue to deepen your chosen topic, adding new details and improving the structure.
Week 5:
First finalize the script and voiceover, then animate the elements, focusing on dubbing.
Add looped background animations for a smooth feel and to create a unified rhythm.
Week 6:
Make the intro more dynamic yet concise to immediately draw the viewer in.
Pay attention to the pace of the narrative - it should be smooth and not overloaded with details.
Week 7:
The video is cohesive and of high quality.
A looped background makes it more coherent and smooth, which has a positive effect on perception.
Try creating a short version (like a trailer), focusing on key moments to increase viewer engagement.
REFLECTIONS
This project was both challenging and rewarding as it required a combination of different skills including animation, illustration and storytelling. It made me think critically about how to balance visual appeal and clear communication. I realized how important it is to have a broad skill set and be adaptable to different aspects of a project.
Collaboration played a key role in the success of our work. Each team member contributed their experience and expertise, making the process smoother and more efficient. The efficient distribution of tasks allowed us to stay organized and maintain a consistent workflow. I truly appreciate the effort put in by the entire team, especially in the areas of animation and design, as their work brought the project to life.
This project was a valuable challenge that helped me understand the amount of effort required for a successful outcome. I realized how important it is to have a strong, well-coordinated team and a leader who keeps everything on track.
Working with the team gave me valuable experience in collaboration and communication. I also recognized my own areas for improvement and where I need to be more proactive in contributing to the project.
